Choose vibration only or sound and vibration before monitoring. The choice controls the WakeBear AlarmKit alarm.
A paired Apple Watch may receive the alarm through Apple system behavior. Apple Watch is optional and cannot run WakeBear by itself.
Keep the iPhone charged near your head, do not place it under bedding, and lock the screen after monitoring starts. The app is designed for iOS 26 or later on iPhone.
A single sound is not enough to start an alarm. WakeBear uses repeated candidates within a time window to reduce responses to one-off noises.
If another AudioSession interruption actually starts, WakeBear ends monitoring, saves the end reason, and sends one local notification after ending. It does not keep showing a monitoring state that can no longer recover.
From monitoring start until monitoring ends, WakeBear sends no local notifications except alarms caused by WakeBear itself through AlarmKit.
Monitoring time, snore candidate count, alarm count, end reason, and microphone interruption records are stored on the iPhone. You can delete the history in the app.
