On-device snore detection

How a night works

01

Start before sleep

Choose sound, vibration, or both. Place your charged iPhone 30–60 cm from your head and start monitoring.

02

Detect on iPhone

WakeBear analyzes short audio windows in real time. It does not make a recording file or send microphone audio away from the device.

03

Get a nudge

When the time-based snore conditions are met, an AlarmKit alarm prompts you to wake or change position.

Sound or vibration

Choose the kind of nudge that fits the people sleeping nearby.

Clear limits

WakeBear is not a medical device and does not promise that every person will wake up.

A record on your iPhone

Monitoring time, candidate counts, alarm counts, and the end reason stay on the device.

What WakeBear does not claim

WakeBear does not diagnose sleep apnea, treat snoring, measure sleep medically, or guarantee that snoring will stop or that you will wake up. Sounds from another person may also be detected.
